Moi-Meme invites designers, doodlers and fashion-enthusiasts to participate in our challenge to create a new embroidery design for our Calgary jacket. One winner will see his/her design produced and added to the collection and will also receive a $500 custom-clothing gift certificate from Moi-Meme.

Recently introduced with the Autumn 08 Collection, the Calgary jacket features a vine-like embroidery design at the waist. We would like to give our customers the opportunity to personalize their jackets by offering them a second embroidery design option.

Anyone can submit an embroidery design for consideration. Finalists will be selected by Moi-Meme judges and the winner will be voted on by subscribers to the Moi-Meme mailing list.

COMPETITION RULES AND SCHEDULE

Eligibility
This competition is open to all designers, doodlers and fashion-enthusiasts worldwide. In other words, anyone may enter.

Prize
The winner will receive a $500 Moi-Meme gift certificate. Gift certificate expires March 31, 2009 and is not redeemable for cash, but may be used to purchase other gift certificates from Moi-Meme Attire with the same expiration date.

Schedule
October 22: Submission begins
November 7 Midnight ET: Entry deadline (competition closes)
November 11: Finalists announced
November 11-13: Mailing list subscribers cast their votes for a winner
November 14: Winner announced

Entry Format

• Design: sketch rendered as a black design on a white background (hand-drawn or computer-drafted)
• Size: 4 cm high and 15 - 25 cm wide
• File format: JPEG or GIF format
• Submission: attached to the submission e-mail
• File size: not to exceed 1 MB

Entry Submission
Submit your entry via e-mail and e-mail attachment prior to the November 7 Midnight ET deadline. Cut and paste the complete Entry Submission Form, exactly as shown at the left on this page.

Multiple Entries
Multiple entries are accepted, though each entry must be submitted separately.

Judging
Finalists will be selected by Moi-Meme founder and CEO, Dawn Verbrigghe, and fashion designer, Steven Hoffman. Subscribers to the Moi-Meme mailing list will determine the winner by voting online for their favorite design from November 11-13, 2008. To make yourself eligible to vote for the winner, subscribe to the Moi-Meme mailing list before November 11, 2008 at http://www.moi-meme.com/signup.html.

Publicity
The winner may be required to participate in press initiatives including the following:
- Name and winning design incorporated in press outreach and materials regarding the Moi-Meme design competition
- Headshot and biography for press use

Originality
All submissions must be work that is original from the designer, created for this competition, and not in production. IMAGES SUBMITTED MUST NOT CONTAIN PREVIOUSLY COPYRIGHTED ARTWORK. Do not copy-and-paste elements from other sources. Submissions with such elements will be disqualified.

Rights
Intellectual property rights will remain with the designer, although Moi-Meme Attire, LLC will retain the nonexclusive right to reproduce the winning design in its garments and publish or display the winning competition entry in any format, exhibition or publication.
